Wednesday at Woodlands Lunchtime Concert Series Presents Tree 3
Wednesday at Woodlands continues Wednesday, July 5 at 12:00 noon with the duo Tree 3. The lunchtime concerts take place in the Woodlands Park shelter area, 429 E. Boundary. Bring a chair or a packed lunch and sit at one of the many picnic tables in and around the shelter area in both the sun and shade.
Tree 3 is a sensational new duo that has rapidly attracted a dedicated following in the area. Emerging jazz vocalist Caroline McGuckin, joins forces with renowned musician John Barile. Their performances seamlessly blend traditional jazz elements with contemporary influences, resulting in a harmonious fusion of old and new.
Caroline McGuckin possesses a mezzo-soprano voice that captivates audiences, and her expressive and soulful delivery evokes the timeless essence of the legendary singer Billy Holiday. Her vocal prowess creates an emotional connection with listeners of all ages. John Barile, a highly regarded musician who has built a music career spanning over three decades, compliments Caroline's talents perfectly. Armed with a diverse range of instruments such as the guitar, mandolin, ukulele, Native American flutes, and his own melodious vocals, Barile brings versatility and expertise to their partnership.
