Wednesday at Woodlands continues Wednesday, July 12 at 12:00 noon with The Abbigale Rose Duo.  The lunchtime concerts take place in the Woodlands Park shelter area, 429 E. Boundary Street.  Bring a chair or a packed lunch and sit at one of the many picnic tables in and around the shelter area in both the sun and shade.

Abbigale Rose's powerhouse vocals, and emotive delivery jump started her music career in the area in an astoundingly short span of time.   She has been recognized with numerous awards and nominations in both Toledo and Detroit which includes nominations for Outstanding Rock/Pop Vocalist and Outstanding Live Performance at the 2021 Detroit Music Awards.  She was awarded Best Blues/Jazz Artist in the 2019 Toledo City Paper's Best of Toledo Awards as well as features in area media.   She has recently turned her talents to writing moving songs and advocating for victims of domestic violence.   She has been featured and performed some of her original music on area television programs.  She will soon release her first EP of original music.

Moose Zonjic  is a revered musician hailing from Michigan.  He is considered a music legend and was honored with inclusion in The Michigan Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with his band Moose & Da Sharks.   He has been on an extensive musical journey that included performing on the stage with some of the industry's most notable musicians such as Chuck Berry, Chubby Checker, Del Shannon, Little Eva and Bob Seger to name a few.

The collaboration between Abbigale Rose and Moose Zonjic in the Abbigale Rose Duo will combine Rose's award-winning vocals with Zonjic's seasoned musicianship.  Together they capitalize on their individual musical backgrounds and will create a unique and powerful performance created just for the Wednesday at Woodlands audience.

This music series is made possible through the generous support of The City of Perrysburg and The Norma Stark Memory Garden and Labyrinth.
