Glass City Young Professionals 4th Anniversary Event
The Glass City Young Professionals Meetup group, currently at 875 members, will be celebrating the 4th anniversary of the current iteration of the group with an event at Forest View Lanes in Temperance on July 15 from 1-5 pm. Originally founded in 2010 the current leadership of the group began in 2019 when David Zubenko took over as lead organizer. Since then other key leaders have included Kandis Rich, Christina Sigley, and Kristin Harris. The group tries to do events on a weekly basis for young adults in the Toledo area. Regular events include trivia, bowling, game nights, outdoor activities, and going to restaurants and coffeehouses. One of the more popular events in the group is the Coffeehouse Passport series Rich has led since June 2021 that goes around to coffeehouses in the Toledo region. The overall goal of the group is to create a space for people to make friends and socialize with other people. The group will be celebrating four years of fun and memories with an event that includes bowling, beach volleyball, a cake, and raffle prizes.
