Wednesday at Woodlands Concert Series Presents Music by Bliss
Wednesday at Woodlands lunchtime concert series continues Wednesday, July 12 at 12:00 noon with music by Bliss. The lunchtime concerts take place in the Woodlands Park shelter area, 429 E. Boundary Street. Bring a chair or a packed lunch and sit at one of the many picnic tables in and around the shelter area in both the sun and shade.
Bliss is an all-female band that has become a cherished treasure in the Toledo area community. The group is distinguished by their striking harmonies and multi-instrumental talents. Bliss is known for creating a wave of positivity that washes over their audiences through their selection of tunes that resonate with people of all ages and walks of life.
What sets Bliss apart is not just their musical talent but also their commitment to nurturing a strong sense of community. They actively participate in local events, fundraisers, and charity concerts, using their music to uplift and support various causes. Their dedication to giving back has made them not just musicians but beloved community advocates. Members include vocalist Cindy McFarland, on bass; Brenda Holdridge, playing violin and percussion; vocalist M'lissa Prottengeier playing guitar; harmonic director and vocalist, Lorilee Ash-Green performing on keyboards and guitar.
