Christian’s Corner Foundation, H.O.O.V.E.S, Revitalize Fitness, Task Force 20, and Veterans Matter have joined forces to promote their mental wellness programs for veterans through the Run/Walk for Life event, Saturday, September 16.
The combined services provided by these organizations offer veterans non-clinical equine therapy, specialized health and fitness programs, a support network to assist in transitioning to civilian life, and housing for the homeless.
Why: Mental health and suicide are important issues for our military and veterans.

- In the first quarter of 2023 we lost 135 active and reserve service members to suicide
- For active military - suicide takes more lives than combat does
- We are losing veterans at a rate of 1 ½ - 2 times higher than civilians
