Victory Center Survivor Art Showcase: Local cancer patients share their art, stories
Celebrating creativity throughout the cancer journey
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Victory Center is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated event, the 12th Annual TVC Survivor Art Showcase. TVC opens its doors to the public on Saturday, April 27th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. This keystone event will be held at 3166 N Republic Blvd. Toledo, OH.
The Victory Center is proud to provide a platform for cancer survivors of all diagnoses, ages, and genders to share their story through art, offering a glimpse into their experiences, emotions, and triumphs. From paintings and drawings to sculptures and mixed media pieces, the exhibition will showcase a diverse array of artistic expressions, each one capturing the strength and resilience of the human spirit. In addition to the art exhibition, guests will have the opportunity to connect with fellow survivors, caregivers, and supporters, fostering a sense of community and solidarity in the fight against cancer.
Admission to the event is free and open to the public. Join us to enjoy music, raffle games, and light refreshments. Donations in support of The Victory Center's mission to provide free programs and services to cancer patients and their families are greatly appreciated.
"We are excited to once again host the TVC Survivor Art Showcase and celebrate the incredible individuals who have faced cancer with courage and grace," said Hattie Lykowski, Program Director at The Victory Center. "This event not only highlights the therapeutic power of art but also serves as a source of inspiration and hope for all those affected by cancer."
