Two Free Plant Giveaways April 27 and May 4

Free perennials? Say wot?

Sure as April showers bring May flowers, the Wood County and Toledo Plant exchanges are gearing up to distribute a couple of thousand beauties to enhance your gardens. 

Visitors can drop off outdoor and indoor plants and related paraphernalia from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. April 27 at the Wood County Fairgrounds in Bowling Green, and distribution of plants to the public will be about 10 to 10:30 a.m.

Likwise, the Toledo event starts with plant drop off from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. on May 4, followed by distribution from 10 to 10:30 a.m.

The Wood County Fairgrounds, 13800 W. Poe Rd., is in Bowling Green and the Toledo plantasia is at the Lucas County Fairgrounds, 2901 Key St. in Maumee. Information at 419-213-4254 and Facebook.
