Sunday, June 2 marks 37th Annual national holiday
TOLEDO, Ohio – Treasure SurvivorSHIP, a local tribute to cancer survivors from all walks of life, will take place concurrent with hundreds of other celebrations nationwide Sunday, June 2. The commemorative event serves as a beacon of hope and support for survivors, their loved ones, and the surrounding community. This year marks the 37th Annual National Cancer Survivors Day.
National Cancer Survivors Day®, designated such by the National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation, Inc., stands as a testament to the resilience and strength of those who have prevailed over cancer. This year, Treasure SurvivorSHIP, becomes a day to bringing together survivors to share their journeys, provide encouragement to those newly diagnosed, and foster a spirit of solidarity within the community.
At The Victory Center, located in the heart of northwest Ohio, activities and entertainment will uplift and ‘treasure’ those living in survivorship during and after cancer treatment. Guests can play lawn games, enter giveaways, and break bread over delicious local fare. Live music performance by local musician Spencer Elfring. The soiree takes place from 12:00-2:00pm and all are welcome. There is no cost of admission.

The Victory Center was founded in 1996 to support and educate cancer patients and those closest to them by providing programs and services aimed at meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those touched by cancer. Services are provided at no cost to patients, and all donations are fully tax deductible.
