The Toledo Choral Society Presents: Carl Orff's Carmina Burana
TOLEDO CHORAL SOCIETY TO PERFORM CARMINA BURANA
Toledo, OH – Immerse yourself in the grandeur of timeless Latin spectacle as the talented musicians and vocalists of the Toledo Choral Society bring to life the powerful rhythms and soaring melodies of Carl Orff’s masterpiece, “Carmina Burana”.
The Toledo Choral Society is excited to share the stage with many exceptional musicians and soloists for this performance, including:
- Andreea Lee, Accompanist
- Frances Renzi, Accompanist
- Kirsten Kunkle, Soprano
- Gregory Ashe, Tenor
- Errin Duane Brooks, Baritone
The performance will take place at the University of Toledo’s Doermann Theatre, located at 2801 W. Bancroft St. in Toledo, on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at 3 pm. Free parking in Area 13 off Bancroft Street.
General admission tickets are $25 each and can be purchased through the organization’s website at toledochoralsociety.org/events.
ABOUT TOLEDO CHORAL SOCIETY
Established in 1919, the Toledo Choral Society is the area’s oldest continuously performing musical organization. Nearly 100 members from all over northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan perform several annual concerts of classical and contemporary choral works, including Handel’s “Messiah”, performed every year around Christmas.
