First-ever Lucas County Farm Connection to be held on July 20th at MacQueen Orchards
Lucas Soil and Water Conservation District (Lucas SWCD), Lucas County Auditor’s Office, and several other local agencies and institutions, invite you to join us for the inaugural Lucas County Farm Connection happening this summer on July 20, 2024 at MacQueen Orchards in Holland, Ohio.
This family-friendly event will welcome and bring together both the agricultural and non-agricultural communities to learn, play, and inspire forward progress for food production in Lucas County. The free event will feature a main-stage speaker series (topics to be announced), children’s area, food trucks, tour of MacQueen Orchards, and a business/agency expo.
Emphasizing the importance of “Home Grown” food and grain produced in our County, the event organizers hope that attendees will learn about local farming, and all that it entails, in both rural and urban settings.
Registration is required, but the event is free to attend. All those registered by July 14, 2024 will receive a free MacQueen’s freshly-made donut. To register, visit www.LucasSWCD.org/LCFC24.
