Wednesday at Woodlands Presents the Ryan Dunlap Trio

Get ready for an exhilarating musical afternoon as the Ryan Dunlap Trio performs for the Wednesday at Woodlands lunchtime concert series. The performance is scheduled for Wednesday, August 14, from 12 noon to 1 p.m., at the Woodlands Park shelter area, located at 429 E. Boundary Street, Perrysburg. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a chair or enjoy their lunch at one of the many picnic tables available.

The Ryan Dunlap Trio features Ryan Dunlap on guitar and vocals, Jon Rutter on drums and bass, and Ross Thompson on bass and drums. This talented group delivers an Americana style of music infused with blues and jazz, offering a unique sound that will resonate with all ages.

Ryan Dunlap, a Perrysburg native and a member of the Class of 2004, began his musical journey in the spring of 2004. Completely self-taught, Ryan used internet tabs and chord charts to learn the guitar, transforming his poems and ideas into songs. His first significant gig was in 2007 at the now Flying Joe in Levis Commons. Since then, Ryan has turned his passion for music into a career, performing across the country. He has released several albums, with the latest being "Between Now and Yesterday," which features the trio.

What sets the Ryan Dunlap Trio apart is the dynamic stage presence of Jon Rutter and Ross Thompson, who frequently switch positions between drums and bass. This fluidity adds another layer of creativity and a fresh sound to their performances, keeping the audience engaged and entertained.
