Lucas County Retired Teachers Assn. Awards Annual Student Scholarships

Three $1,000 scholarships were awarded at the Lucas County Retired Teachers Association luncheon on October 24th held at The Inverness Club in Toledo Ohio. Recipients of this year’s awards were students from The University of Toledo: Carly Ferrante and Emma Fritsch and Lourdes University: Layton Willson. Criteria for the scholarships include: The student must be enrolled in a College of Education in a Lucas County College or University; either a Sophomore, Junior or Senior; Demonstrate Financial Need; have a Teacher Recommendation; and Complete a short essay.
