Cupcake Decorating Paw-ty to benefit RubyCats

RubyCats to host Cupcake Decorating Paw-ty fundraiser with Cake in a Cup on Nov. 17th

RubyCats, Toledo’s first cat café coming later this year to Downtown Toledo, is thrilled to announce its upcoming fundraiser, the Cupcake Decorating Paw-ty, on Sunday, Nov. 17th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cake in a Cup, located at 6511 Central Ave. in Toledo. 

Attendees will enjoy decorating cupcakes with all proceeds supporting RubyCats and Forget Me Not Cat Rescue. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. This is an open house-style fundraiser. Come anytime during the event. Ticket includes four plain cupcakes and decorations and icing on the side, and a wonderful time.

Founded in 2022, RubyCats is on a mission to help cats in need by creating an environment where all cat lovers can meet up to look for their next family pet, hang out with furry feline friends, or contribute to animal safety. RubyCats is located at 618 Adams St. in Downtown Toledo and plans to open by the end of the year.

What is a cat café?

A cat café is a beautiful indoor place where cat lovers can come watch and interact with cats and kittens. Many of the cats are adoptable, but you do not have to intend to adopt to visit. Timed tickets are required to visit.
