Making Self-Care a Priority for Caregivers

Free educational session explores caring for the family caregiver

Toledo, Ohio, January 16, 2025 — MemoryLane Care Services is hosting a free educational program, Taking Care of Myself: 5 Tips for Caregiver Health, on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

“Often, caregivers pull double or even triple duty as a caregiver, spouse/parent, and employee, said Cheryl Conley, director of Social Services for MemoryLane Care Services. “The stress of caring for a family member or friend with a chronic health condition can put them at risk for physical and mental health consequences. This educational program will help caregivers learn the importance of self-care and tips to integrate ways to focus on themselves while they are caring for someone else.”
