Toledo, OH – Stone Productions, in partnership with The Collingwood Arts Center, proudly presents Spring Awakening, the Tony Award-winning rock musical that explores the struggles of adolescence, self-discovery, and rebellion. With a powerful score by Duncan Sheik and poignant lyrics by Steven Sater, this groundbreaking production brings raw emotion and electrifying energy to the stage.

“The idea of a younger generation claiming the world they want, instead of a world that generations before gave them, is extremely relevant with all the fighting in our cultural environment. Women’s rights to reproductive health, trans rights, same sex relationships, suicide and abuse awareness, are all still serious issues that are depicted in this story set in 1891 Germany.
We are excited to bring this powerful and important show back to the CAC stage.”
