Toledo’s MultiFaith Earth Day Celebration Set for April 27 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church
Toledo, OH – April 22, 2025 – The MultiFaith Council of Northwest Ohio and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church invite the Greater Toledo community to gather for a Multifaith Earth Day Celebration on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1825 Glendale Ave., Toledo.
This family-friendly event will include a brief Multifaith Prayer Service, local vendors, delicious snacks, and a Community Organizations Fair showcasing local groups working to protect the environment and uplift our neighborhoods. No RSVP is required, and all are welcome.
“Earth Day reminds us that caring for the planet is not just an environmental issue—it’s a spiritual one,” said Lauraine Carpenter, Board Chair of the MultiFaith Council. “This celebration offers a sacred space for people of many faiths to come together, learn from each other, and act in unity for the health of the Earth.”
The Multifaith Earth Day Celebration emphasizes shared values like stewardship, justice, and gratitude across faith traditions. It provides an opportunity for reflection, education, and action—uniting people from diverse backgrounds around a common cause.
