ProMedica Community Events in May
ProMedica will offer the following community events in May:
May 5, 2025 – ProMedica Weight Loss Surgery Support Group – The ProMedica Weight Loss Surgery Support Group is for patients who have had weight loss surgery or for community members who would like more information about weight loss surgery. The group meets the first Monday of every month at the ProMedica Health & Wellness Center, Education Conference Rooms 1 & 2 (5700 Monroe Street, Sylvania OH 43560) beginning at 6 p.m. No registration is required.
May 5-6, 2025 – ProMedica Bay Park Hospital Auxiliary Flower Sale – The ProMedica Bay Park Hospital Auxiliary will be selling a variety of hanging flower baskets, ferns, succulent bowls and urns from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the main lobby of the hospital (2801 Bay Park Dr, Oregon, OH 43616). Only cash and checks will be accepted.
May 7, 2025 – Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Support Group – The Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Support Group is supported by the National MS Society. The support group will take place at the ProMedica Neurosciences Center (2130 W. Central Avenue, Toledo, OH 43606) beginning at 6 p.m. The group is also open to friends and family. May 17, 2025 – Safe Kids Day Event – Safe Kids of Greater Toledo will be hosting a Safe Kids Day event at Pearson Metropark (761 S. Lallendorf Rd, Oregon, OH 43616) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with Oregon Fire and Rescue Department and Toledo Metroparks. Safe Kids of Greater Toledo will distribute bike helmets and life jackets (while quantities last) and have water and fire safety activities for the whole family.
