The Mustard Seed Education Foundation to hold fundraiser at Toledo’s Iconic former Westminster Gym
The Mustard Seed Education Foundation will host its annual fundraiser this year at the former Westminster Gym near downtown Toledo. The venue is now the headquarters of Nemsys, a computer consulting company, and is a part of the newly revitalized Ostrich Towne District.
The event, Double Team to Achieve the Dream, is co-hosted by Nemsys and will take place on July 13th, 2025 from 3:00-7:00pm. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting The Mustard Seed Education Foundation. Each ticket purchased will include food and non-alcoholic beverages, tours of the Westminster facility, a scavenger hunt, and live music. A silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and a cash bar is available to all who attend. Parking is available at Ostrich Towne and also at lot adjacent to nearby Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. About Westminster Gym:
Westminster Gym was built in 1870 as a Presbyterian church. It closed in 1909 and was sold to nearby St. John’s College, who used it at the college’s gymnasium. The facility was turned over to the Diocese of Toledo in the 1930’s and was used to host CYO basketball games for over 75 years until its closure in the early 2000’s.
