The Gatlin Show Returns to the Maumee Senior Center

MAUMEE—The popular Gatlin Show will return to the Maumee Senior Center for the Ellis Huff Memorial Summer Party on Friday, August 1, 2025.

“The Gatlin Show is a favorite in this region. The duo performs all kinds of dancing music including line dancing and everyone loves them. The Gatlin Show has limited performances in northwest Ohio and we are very excited to be a venue for this year,” said Malinda Ruble, executive director of the Maumee Senior Center. “The Gatlin Show is a long-standing part of our entertainment schedule at the Maumee Senior Center.”

The Ellis Huff Memorial Summer Party, which begins at 5 p.m., will take place at the Maumee Senior Center, 2430 S. Detroit Ave., Maumee, OH 43537. Dinner will be served at 5 p.m. and the show will follow.

The Maumee Senior Center will be serve: Grilled BBQ Chicken Quarter, Garlic & Herb Roasted Red Potatoes, Corn on the Cob, Roll & Butter and Fresh-Baked Apple Pie Ala Mode.

Tickets are just $35 per person for dinner and the show. The event is open to all ages and the public is welcome.

“The performance by the Gatlins appeals to all ages. Their talents far exceed any particular music genre and the people just love hearing songs from across the decades,” said Ruble.

Proceeds from the event will be used for the operation and programs of the Maumee Senior Center.

“As our population ages, there is a growing need for services and programming at the Maumee Senior Center. Fundraising events, as well as memberships, sponsorships and donations, are an integral part of our ability to serve more seniors,” said Ruble.

The Maumee Senior Center is a registered 501(c)3 organization which provides services and programs, such as meals, transportation, support groups social/recreational activities, for people 60 years of age and older. The Center is partially-funded by the Lucas County Senior Services Levy administered through the Area Office on Aging of Northwest Ohio, the City of Maumee, local, state and federal grants, as well as donations, memberships and fundraisers, like this one.
