Music at the Market Presents The Daydrinkers
Music at the Market continues Thursday, August 14, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on the Commodore Schoolyard lawn at 140 E. Boundary Street in downtown Perrysburg with a rare add on performance by The Daydrinkers. Best known for their packed monthly shows at The Village Idiot in Maumee, the band rarely plays outside their last-Friday-of-the-month residency, making this a special chance to catch them in an outdoor summer setting. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket. This venue is in the DORA district.
The Musicians Behind the Name
This isn’t a casual side hustle, the band is a gathering of talented musicians whose lives revolve around music, not just as a gig, but as their profession, passion, and primary form of expression.
Members of The Daydrinkers include Jake Pilewski on keyboard, Isaac Snyder on guitar, Evan Spurlock on drums, Jon B. Roth on guitar, and Frank May on bass. The Daydrinkers are all career musicians, each actively performing solo or with other prominent musicians and bands throughout northwest Ohio. But once a month, they come together for a residency at The Village Idiot that has become a local tradition. Their standing-room-only shows are so popular, fans line up in the morning just to get a spot inside.

The band strikes a perfect balance between originality and nostalgia. Their setlists include unexpected covers of familiar songs you love-but rarely hear live-alongside original tunes that fit seamlessly into the mix.
