Perrysburg Sculpture Walk Kicks Off 5th Annual Exhibit with a Community Celebration

Mark your calendar for Sunday, August 31, for a memorable day at Woodlands Park, 429 E. Boundary, Perrysburg, as the 5th Annual Perrysburg Sculpture Walk launches with a Community Opening Celebration, for a lively with art, music, creativity, and delicious food.
This year’s Sculpture Walk features an all-new collection of thirteen large-scale outdoor works by nationally known artists. Installed along the park’s entryway and walking path, the exhibit showcases a wide variety of materials, styles, and stories, each piece adding a fresh spark to Perrysburg’s cultural landscape.
The celebration will offer something for everyone. Enjoy live music from Suburban Legend and create two different mini sculptures at the Children’s Sculpture Making Station-both under a canopy tent for shade. Bring a chair or blanket and settle in for the concert, then join a curator-led walking tour to meet some of the exhibiting sculptors in person. Food trucks will be on site for those who’d like to enjoy dinner in the park.
Schedule:
  • 3:30–4:30 PM – Children’s Sculpture Making Station (Make & Take: Two Different Mini Sculptures)
  • 4:00–5:00 PM – Live Music: Suburban Legend
  • 5:00–5:30 PM – Artist Award Presentation announcing this year’s juried award winners
  • 5:30–6:00 PM – Live Music Continues with Suburban Legend
  • 6:00–7:00 PM – Curator-Led Tour of the Sculpture Walk with Sculptor Meet & Greet
The Perrysburg Sculpture Walk is free, open year-round, and illuminated at night for evening viewing. Whether you’re a devoted art enthusiast or simply looking for a fun community event, the Community Opening Celebration is the perfect way to experience this year’s new sculptures in a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.  
The Perrysburg Community Opening is possible through support from The Cultural Arts Fund of Wood County, along with The City of Perrysburg, and American Event Rentals
