Culture at the Crossroads: Thoughtful Dialogue on Critical Issues of Today
TOLEDO, OH, OCTOBER 2 12:00PM – First Thursdays Toledo invites the community to join Culture at the Crossroads, a monthly event dedicated to fostering meaningful conversation on pressing social issues.
This month’s featured speaker is Baldemar Velásquez, renowned labor leader and founder of the Farm Labor Organizing Committee (FLOC). He will speak on the topic:
“Mass Deportations: A Threat to the U.S. Economy.”
The event will take place on Thursday, October 2, at Monroe Street United Methodist Church, 3613 Monroe St., Toledo, OH 43606.
The program begins at 12:00 PM and offers two options:
- $15 for a provided lunch
- $5 if you bring your own
This engaging series provides the Toledo community with an opportunity for thoughtful dialogue around the critical issues of today—a chance to learn, share, and grow together.
