Community Rally Planned Following National Memorial Broadcast

Toledo, OH – 9/21/2025 – Community members will gather at 5:00 PM EST at War Memorial Located at 810 Jackson St, Toledo, OH 43604, to participate in “Rally for Charlie Kirk | End Political Violence”. The event, organized by George Williams and Jacob Richards, following the televised funeral and memorial service held earlier in the day. This is an open to all willing to gather peacefully event.

The rally will feature speakers, prayer, worship, and an opportunity for participants to reflect on themes of free expression and community solidarity. Attendees are encouraged to bring signage or flags to show their support, keeping in mind the designated gathering area.

Event organizers emphasized the logistical details:

  • Start time: 5:00 PM EST on Sunday, September 21st

  • Parking: Public meters are available around the square at the Lucas County Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas.

“Following today’s national ceremony, this is an opportunity for the local community to come together in mourning and determination,” said event representatives. “We want to create space for honoring Charlie’s life and our shared values in faith, and freedom.”
