Three Decades of Giving: Danberry’s Treasure Chest Gala Raises Funds for Families in Crisis
Over $135K raised to support ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital and ease financial burden for local families
TOLEDO, OHIO, October 27, 2025 – On Thursday, October 23, Danberry Realtors hosted its 30th annual Danberry Treasure Chest Auction and Gala at Stranahan Theater Great Hall, raising more than $135K to help local families and children in need. The milestone event welcomed more than 450 community members for an evening of celebration, fundraising, and heartfelt giving that supports families with children receiving care at ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital.
With continued support from the community, many local businesses and Danberry agents and staff, Danberry has raised $200K in 2025 so far, making a positive difference in helping children and families in need throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
“As we celebrate 30 years of the Danberry Treasure Chest, we’re reminded of how far we’ve come from our humble beginnings that started as a garage sale in the 1990s,” said Dan McQuillen, Partner at The Danberry Co. This year’s event was a beautiful reflection of our community’s compassion and commitment as we continue our partnership with ProMedica and to support the children and families who need it most.”
From mortgage payments to funeral costs, the proceeds raised through Danberry Treasure Chest help families navigate the emotional and financial toll of childhood illness. Danberry has been long committed to helping ease the burden of essential expenses such as mortgage or rent, utilities, car payments, and more by providing critical relief during some of the most challenging times in these families’ lives.
