Local Entrepreneur Reimagines a Quiet Sylvania Building Into a New Kind of Workplace
Sylvania, OH — As more professionals reconsider working from home and many traditional office buildings sit partially underused, local entrepreneur Adam Kripke is reimagining a previously overlooked property in Sylvania into a new kind of workplace designed for how people actually work today.
The project, called OfficeSpot, is a professional office and coworking space scheduled to open January 1st. It focuses on private offices and calm, thoughtfully designed shared space for professionals who want a professional setting—without the rigidity or overhead of a long-term office lease.
The timing reflects a broader shift. While remote work offered flexibility, many professionals have found that working from home comes with real limitations. At the same time, traditional office environments often feel outdated, inflexible, or unnecessary. OfficeSpot is positioned between those two extremes.
Rather than leaning into trends or novelty, the space emphasizes fundamentals that often get overlooked: privacy, quiet, natural light, and rooms designed to feel comfortable and functional for a full workday. The goal, according to Kripke, is to make work feel simpler and more sustainable.
“People spend a significant portion of their lives working,” said Kripke. “The environment they’re in has a direct impact on their focus, stress, and overall quality of life. This project is about creating spaces that support people, instead of draining them.”
Kripke brings more than 25 years of experience across real estate, business consulting, and entrepreneurship. Much of his work has focused on revitalizing underutilized properties and building systems that reduce friction—for both businesses and the people who run them.
OfficeSpot is designed for professionals such as attorneys, therapists, consultants, accountants, and remote workers who want a professional environment that reflects how they work today. The space will offer private offices, conference rooms, and shared amenities, with flexible options that allow members to scale up or down as their needs change.
OfficeSpot’s Sylvania location is expected to open in January 2026. A limited number of private offices and coworking memberships are currently available ahead of opening.
