Ben & Jerry’s Westgate Toledo Hosts Free Cone Day with The Josh Project
TOLEDO, OH — Ben & Jerry’s Westgate Toledo will celebrate its annual Free Cone Day on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Westgate Village.
This highly anticipated event invites the community to enjoy a free scoop of ice cream as a token of appreciation, while also bringing awareness to an important local cause.
This year’s celebration includes a partnership with The Josh Project, a Toledo-based nonprofit dedicated to providing swim lessons and water safety education for youth ages 5–17.
Dr. Vivian Chidi-Murriel, M.D. is the franchisee and owner of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream locations in Toledo and Cleveland Playhouse Square. She has been a strong advocate and major partner for The Josh Project, and her commitment to community engagement and empowerment is truly inspiring.
Representatives from The Josh Project will be on-site engaging with families, sharing water safety resources, and accepting donations to support their life-saving mission.
Community members are encouraged to attend, enjoy a free cone, and support efforts to expand water safety education throughout the region.
