The Kwanzaa Park Neighbors are pleased to welcome Deborah Barnett to the monthly Block Watch Meeting.
Through her consulting company N-SYNC, LLC, Deborah Barnett has been instrumental in collaborating in a variety of programs with City of Toledo – Department of Neighborhoods, Toledo Public Schools, Promedica, University of Toledo, Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance and Toledo African American Chamber of Commerce. After serving for 36 years with The Huntington National Bank, she has set her sight on operating her small business, but continues to be sought after as a resource, a consultant, speaker, motivator, and an event consultant. Deborah is a respected voice among community leaders.
Recently Deborah has been offering workshops: “Getting your Affairs in Order” to a variety of audiences. Always a great resource and a delightful presenter she fills the room with her knowledge and humor. Deborah Barnett will be presenting at the Kwanzaa Park meeting about how we can be Ready for Life Changes - a will is not always the way.
Prior to her presentation the Toledo Police Safety Officer will give the crime statistics for the area. Also, following the presentation there will be refreshments where neighbors can sit together and ask questions, discuss concerns or just visit with one another. The meeting is free and open to the public.
The Padua Center 1416 Nebraska Ave. is handicap accessible when entering from Nebraska Ave. Additional parking in the rear off the Junction Street alley. Because of construction and renovation at St. Anthony Church Nebraska Street parking is encouraged. There is also a parking area to the west of the Center.
