Northwest Ohio events to Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday
Join local authors and historians Tedd Long and Robyn Hage at Tiedtke's Coffee Shop, 4444 Keystone Dr., Unit B, Maumee, from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, to help kick off local America 250 events.
Robyn Hage will release her new book, 250 Toledoans Remembered. The new book includes several well-known Toledoans, however, it mostly features unassuming people in our great city preserving their legacies for future generations.
Tedd Long will also be present with his most recent local history books which will be available for purchase as well.
Hard copies of Time Travelers Passport, which takes place July 1-15, 2026, will be available, along with additional information. The passport offers a rare opportunity to explore the region’s most treasured museums, landmarks, and heritage sites as we celebrate 250 years of northwest Ohio history. Time Travelers Passport is sponsored by Holy Toledo History and Toledo Public Schools.
