The National Exchange Club Announces Field of Flags Display and Dedication Ceremony Honoring America’s 250th Anniversary - TODAY at 11AM
TOLEDO, Ohio — The National Exchange Club invites the community to its Field of Flags, a walkable outdoor tribute marking the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and celebrating 250 years of American history.
Installed on the grounds of Exchange’s Toledo headquarters, the display features official U.S. flag designs arranged as a timeline, from the earliest stars and stripes to the flag we fly today. The flags will remain on display through approximately July 10. Each flag carries a historical fact tag and solar lighting keeps the tribute glowing day and night, so visitors can walk the timeline and trace the story of the nation at any hour.
As the centerpiece of the display, Exchange will host a Field of Flags Dedication Ceremony on Monday, June 29, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., an open community event welcoming families, veterans, sponsors, local leaders, and supporters.
The Field of Flags reflects Exchange’s longstanding commitment to Americanism, one of the organization’s four Areas of Impact, and brings the community together in celebration of our shared heritage. The display anchors The National Exchange Club’s “Celebrating 250 Years of Freedom” initiative, honoring U.S. history and the veterans who have defended it, strengthening engagement across Toledo, and uniting Exchange Clubs and regional partners in common purpose.
Visitors are encouraged to experience the display throughout its installation, take photographs, and spend time reflecting on the sacrifices and achievements that have shaped our nation. The public is warmly welcome to attend the dedication ceremony and to visit the Field of Flags while it is on display.
