Local Author Shares 31-Year Toledo Outreach Story at Sept. 5 Book Signing

Holland, Ohio author and A.N.G.E.L.S. Outreach founder Lisa Canales-Smith will sign copies of her new book, A.N.G.E.L.S. Outreach: Our Miracle, My Promise, on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Take Heart Books Christian Bookstore in Oregon, Ohio.
The book shares the inspiring true story behind A.N.G.E.L.S. Outreach, a Toledo-area community ministry that has served families in need for more than 30 years. What began as a mother's prayer for her newborn daughter became a lifelong promise to love, serve, and trust God through every challenge and blessing. Through heartfelt stories of faith, unexpected provision, and answered prayers, and divine encounters, Canales-Smith recounts the origins of A.N.G.E.L.S. Outreach and the peoplw who helped carry its mission forward.
The September 5 author signing comes just adead of the A.N.G.E.L.S. Outreach 31st Anniversary Celebration on September 17, 2026. Community members are invited to meet the author and learn more about the ministry's work. Lisa will have signed copies available for sale.
A.N.G.E.L.S. Outreach: Our Miracle, My Promise is a 180-page book by Lisa Canales-Smith, published by Take Heart Books, LLC. It is available in paperback and hardcover through Ingram.
