New Works Writers Series Presents "Our Voices, Our Future" Youth Showcase Hosted by Joel Fluent Greene
TOLEDO, OH — September 16, 2026 — New Works Writers Series is proud to present "Our Voices, Our Future," a special youth spoken word showcase taking place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at St. Paul's Methodist Church, located at 1201 Madison Ave, Toledo, OH.
The evening serves as the culmination of the "Our Voices, Our Future" youth spoken word and social-emotional learning workshop series. Hosted by renowned poet and performer Joel Fluent Greene, the showcase highlights original writing, creative expression, and community storytelling from local young artists.
"We are thrilled to bring our youth writers to the stage alongside Joel Fluent Greene," said Imelda Hunt, Director of New Works Writers Series. "This performance gives our young people a dedicated platform to share their creative voices and reflect on their community experience."
