Top of the Line DJs Brings a Personalized Approach to Toledo Wedding Entertainment
Planning a wedding involves countless decisions, but one of the most important is creating an atmosphere that brings family and friends together. For Cannon Ritzler, owner of Top of the Line DJs, that experience starts long before the first song plays.
Founded in 2022, Top of the Line DJs is a locally owned wedding DJ and MC company based in the Toledo, Ohio area, providing entertainment for weddings and special events throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
Ritzler started the business with a passion for music and a desire to offer couples something more personal than traditional DJ services. His approach focuses on understanding each couple's vision, preparing for the important moments of their celebration, and creating an experience that reflects their personalities.
"Every wedding is different, and I don't believe in treating them all the same," Ritzler explains. "I take the time to get to know each couple, understand their vision, and learn what matters most to them."
More Than Just Playing Music
While music is a major part of any wedding reception, successful entertainment involves much more than creating a playlist.
From coordinating grand entrances and introducing the wedding party to managing announcements, special dances, and the overall flow of the reception, a DJ often plays an important role in keeping the celebration organized and enjoyable.
Top of the Line DJs provides professional DJ and MC services, along with ceremony sound, lighting, and uplighting options designed to complement each couple's wedding.
Ritzler believes preparation and communication are essential to creating a smooth experience.
Couples are encouraged to discuss their music preferences, reception timeline, special songs, and important announcements ahead of their wedding day. This preparation allows the entertainment to complement the celebration rather than interrupt it.
Helping Toledo Area Couples Plan Their Celebrations
As a wedding DJ serving Toledo, Ohio, and the surrounding region, Ritzler has had the opportunity to provide entertainment at local venues, including Nazareth Hall in Grand Rapids, Ohio.
Working with couples and other wedding professionals has reinforced the importance of coordination and flexibility throughout the planning process.
Ritzler encourages engaged couples to think beyond simply choosing their favorite songs. Considering the age range of guests, the atmosphere they want to create, and the timing of important reception moments can make a significant difference in the overall experience.
He also emphasizes that a wedding should feel personal. Some couples envision an energetic dance floor filled with guests throughout the evening, while others prefer a more relaxed atmosphere with meaningful moments shared among family and friends.
The goal is to understand those preferences and create an experience that feels authentic to each couple.
Building a Local Business Through Relationships
For Ritzler, one of the most rewarding aspects of owning Top of the Line DJs is seeing the joy that music can bring to a celebration.
Watching guests from different generations come together on the dance floor and seeing couples enjoy the wedding they spent months planning are among the experiences that continue to motivate him.
As Top of the Line DJs continues to grow, Ritzler remains focused on providing personalized service, building relationships within the local wedding community, and helping couples create lasting memories.
"Couples spend months, sometimes years, planning their wedding, and I get to help bring that vision to life," Ritzler says.
